Bloomsday is an enormous 12k road race in Spokane, WA that annually features over 40,000 runners. It is highly competitive and each spring attracts many of the best runners in the U.S., along with some of the best traveling road racers. It is a challenging course, with many tough hills spread throughout, but because of the competition the times posted are usually pretty fast. Live bands and aid stations placed liberally throughout the course, along with an excited city, make this a great race no matter what your projected finishing time.
