From RunikiGreen Lake Park in Seattle is the most-visited park in the state of Washington. Its many paths, trails, and even a track make it a great place to run. At almost every time of the day the park is filled with runners and walkers of all abilities, yet there are still plenty of places to run. The main 2.8 mile paved inner loop around the lake can get quite crowded on nice days, but the outer 3.0 gravel loop is generally friendly to running. The many trails of the adjacent Woodlawn Park can provide an excellent addition to any run and the comfortable dirt track of Lower Woodland provides many with a place to get in a good workout. Several local running groups meet there weekly. [edit] External Links
