RunnerMonkey >> Pretzel Stretch

From Runiki

The pretzel stretch is a stretch that will loosen your hips and abductors, the muscles that pull your legs away from each other. Many people get confused with which way to turn their body when performing this stretch but these pictures should help. Start by sitting on the ground with your back straight, and legs out in front of you. Cross one leg over the other and place that foot flat on the floor as shown in pictures one and two (different angles). Next, turn your upper body the same direction you crossed your leg. So, if you cross your left leg over your right, turn towards your left. See pictures 3 and 4. Hold for 18-30 seconds and repeat if you'd like.
