The University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin is home to a very strong running program. The mens' team recently won the NCAA Division I Championships in cross country, dethroning traditional favorites in the process. Both the men's and women's teams are traditionally quite strong in the Big Ten, the athletic conference that the school belongs to.
